Welcome from the Vice-Chancellor
The establishment of a campus in Mauritius is a natural extension of the longstanding relationship Middlesex University has had with the nation of Mauritius.
Generations of Mauritians have excelled as students of Middlesex University London. We feel very fortunate to be welcomed as the first British University to this friendly yet ambitious island nation to be an integral part of the development of Mauritius as a centre of excellence in higher education for the Indian Ocean region.
Students from Mauritius and all over the region will be assured of the same reputable, professional and high-quality courses that we deliver at our London and Dubai campuses.
Professor Michael Driscoll,
Vice-Chancellor, Middlesex University
A Message from the President of Mauritius
I am thankful to Middlesex University London for inviting me to be associated with the establishment of its campus in Mauritius.
The world-recognised degree programmes run by the University will bring added value to the fast-developing Mauritian education system. Education is high on the agenda of the Mauritian Government: our vision is to develop Mauritius into a knowledge hub for the region.
Mauritius represents a unique place in the global village: it is a blend of different cultures in a peaceful and attractive setting. With an internationally-recognised partner like Middlesex University present to deliver high quality courses, we believe we can offer the perfect study destination.
I wish Middlesex University plenty of success in its future endeavours.
The Right Honourable Sir Anerood Jugnauth,
President of The Republic of Mauritius
