How we teach
Students benefit from an emphasis on independent learning, a key characteristic of British education – you will not only acquire the professional knowledge of your subject, but will also learn ‘how to learn’ and develop the critical thinking skills and initiative required in the workplace.
For each module you will spend about three hours in class contact time each week, and also spend about three times that amount in tutorials, seminars, independent study and research. Each undergraduate course has four modules running concurrently over the year.
Postgraduate programmes require in depth study, critical evaluation and assimilation followed by application to real problems in the work place. You study four modules followed by a dissertation which brings together the theoretical and practical aspects of the course to conduct research and provide solutions to specific problems.
We offer extra curricular content specific to Mauritius to contextualise our programs and we focus on innovation & creative thinking throughout all we do.
