How to make an application

For Mauritian students

  • Contact one of our offices for an application form or download one from here:
  • Complete the application form in black ink
  • Ensure that all sections are filled in
  • Ensure that your personal details are clear (especially email, telephone and address)
  • Attach a personal statement (minimum one page single-space printed)
  • Sign and date the application form
  • Attach copies of your School Certificate (SC)
  • Attach copies of your Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC/IB)
  • Attach copies of any other certificates that may help your application
  • Attach references: Either - School leaving certificate and one reference from your school or - Two references, at least one from the school you last attended
  • Submit the completed application form and supporting documents to the Admissions Office

   

For international students (from outside Mauritius)

  • Contact the office for an application form
  • Complete the application form using a black pen
  • Ensure all sections are filled in
  • Ensure that your personal details are clear (especially email, telephone and address)
  • Attach a personal statement (minimum one page single-space printed)
  • Sign and date the application form
  • Attach copies of your Secondary School Certificate
  • Attach copies of your Certificates and Diplomas
  • Attach copies of any other certificates that may help your application
  • If you are unsure about entry requirements please contact the Regional Office 
  • Attach references: Either- School leaving certificate and one reference from your school or - Two references, at least one from the school you last attended
  • Send the completed application form and supporting documents to one of the Regional Offices close to you
  • After you have met all the conditions you will then be sent an “unconditional offer letter” which means a place has been reserved for you
  • You will then need to provide the relevant documents to support your application for a visa residence permit to the appropriate Regional Office
  • The Middlesex University Mauritius Branch Campus will then apply for a visa/residence permit for you
  • The visa/residence permit application requires documentation to be submitted four weeks before a visa can be granted
  • You must ensure that you provide all the information on time so that you can commence your studies on the required date
