      • Part-Time Lecturer in Law (Ref: PT-LAW)

        Candidates must be able to cover consumer law, and assist on Year 1 Modules, on our LLB Course.

        Part-Time Lecturer will have:

        • A Degree and a Post Graduate Degree in a relevant area
        • A commitment to developing your teaching, research and/or professional practice
        • At least two years’ experience of teaching and learning in Higher Education
        • An excellent command of written and spoken English
        • Good grasp of research methods in the social sciences

      • Two Full-Time Research Assistants (On Contract)

        Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Research Assistant (Full-Time), to work on a research project entitled “Innovative Field Service Management Solution” that will be used to monitor and enhance services provided by companies working at off-site locations. The project is a collaborative project between Navigation and Geocoding Technology Ltd and Middlesex University Mauritius. The positions shall be for a contractual period of twelve months.

        Qualifications Required:

        Undergraduate Degree in the field of Computer Science/Applied Computing/Software Engineering/Information Technology or any other related field, with at least a lower second class.

        Profile 1:

        Candidates must have:

        • good analytical and problem-solving skills
        • good mobile application development skills
        • good communications skills (both written and oral)
        • experience in conducting research will be an advantage.

        Profile 2:

        • good analytical and problem-solving skills
        • good programming skills
        • good web development skills
        • good communications skills (both written and oral)
        • experience in conducting research will be an advantage.

        Responsibilities & Duties

        • Conduct literature review
        • Collect and analyse data
        • Design of software prototype
        • Develop, test and evaluate prototype
        • Detailed evaluation of the system.
        • Write progress report for the project.
        • Carry out any other cognate duties as required by the project.

        Duration of Contract: Appointment will be offered for a contractual period of twelve (12) months on full-time basis. The proposed starting date will be March 2021.
